Raging Bike is run by a small group of people who got tired of being
treated like second class citizens by motorists, when travelling to work by

road deaths and injuries in future.

World Carfree Network brings together organisations and individuals
dedicated to promoting alternatives to car dependence and automobile-based

on the natural environment while improving the quality of life for all.

Was formed by a group of researchers, transport planners and
environmentalists with the aim of promoting carfree development and its
environmental, social, financial and health benefits.
Road Danger Reduction Forum
The RDRF was formed in December 1993 after the “Is it Safe?”
Conference organised by Leeds City Council, itself prompted by the
publication earlier in the year of “Death on the Streets: Cars and
the mythology of road safety” by Dr. Robert Davis.
