I do various things. In the political world, I am the Director of the Libertarian Alliance. This means I also do a great deal of media work. But I am also a husband, a father, a university lecturer, a scholar of sorts, and a moderately successful novelist.

And do please – and pretty please, at that! – consider buying some or all of the books listed on the left. They are, I assure you, excellent. In addition, they are ideal presents for those hard to please loved ones. You can get any of the books within three days.
I turn to the matter of the links to other sites, that I give below. If you link to me, and tell me that you have, I will link to you. Sometimes, if I greatly admire you, I will link unilaterally - though I shall also think less of you for the lack of reciprocity.
Now a word regarding comments. To cut down on braindead spammers, I did create a list of riddles for commenters to answer. Since answering them required a good knowledge of English history, or the ability to calculate sums in the pre-decimal coinage, all comments ceased. Until I can think of anything better, I have decided to moderate comments. This means that if you post a comment, it may take a day before it appears. Sorry about that.
